NBA Draft Class 2003: Retrospective – Beyond a Decade in the NBA

The NBA Draft Class of 2003 is one of the deepest and most heralded drafts in NBA history. Led by then high school phenom Lebron James as its first pick, the batch also has Syracuse freshman, NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player and NCAA Champion Carmelo Anthony, NCAA Tournament wunderkind Dwyane Wade, Georgia Tech freshman great Chris Bosh and many other talented players.

After more than a decade since the 2003 draft, the class has produced 8 NBA All-Stars, 1 NBA Most Valuable Player Awardee, 4 All-NBA Awardees, 3 All-NBA Defense Awardees, 3 Scoring Champions, 1 Most Improved Player of the Year Awardee, 1 Sixth Man of the Year Awardee, 12 players have gone on to win an NBA Championship — with 7 more than once, and 2 NBA Finals MVP Awardees.

Below is a run-down of all the significant achievements of the 2003 Draft Class in the NBA and the International (FIBA) Stage as of August 2014. Enjoy. 🙂
